BINGHAMTON, NY – October 31, 2017 – SureScan Corporation announced the x1000 Multi-Energy Explosive Detection System (MES-EDS) has achieved TSA 7.2 certification making it the first and only explosive detection system to pass the most advanced US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) testing requirements on a single platform.

The x1000, which recently entered production, achieved both the European and U.S. certifications in a 10-month period, having passed ECAC Standard 3.1 in February 2017. “We look forward to the success these achievements will help bring to the clients of SureScan,” said John Percival, President of SureScan.
