Throughout 2025, SureScan achieved a series of major milestones, including the launch of the SureFlow Automated Tray Return System (ATRS), the delivery of its 100th x1000 Explosive Detection System (EDS), and the acquisition of WO Airport Interior A/S, further strengthening the company’s capabilities in fully integrated checkpoint and hold baggage screening solutions.
SureScan was proud to have a strong presence at key industry events in 2025, including Passenger Terminal Expo (PTE) and Inter Airport Europe, where we engaged with global airport and security partners to discuss the future of integrated screening solutions. These events reinforce SureScan’s commitment to collaboration and innovation within the aviation security industry.
SureScan continued its collaboration on Gigaplex Remote Screening Technology, a strategic joint venture with The Chertoff Group and VMD Corp, a Xcelerate Solutions company. Earlier this year, the U.S Patent and Trademark Office issued U.S Patent 12,212,893 to The Chertoff Group and SureScan for the technology that enables Gigaplex’s open architecture remote screening platform. Supported in part by the Department of Homeland Security’s Science & Technology (DHS S&T) Small Business Innovation Research Program (SBIR), Gigaplex enables real-time, secure screening of CT images from any checkpoint or location, improving operational efficiency and staffing flexibility while enhancing security performance.
SureScan is actively planning the expansion of its operational footprint with a deployment at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, delivering an integrated checkpoint solution that combines our high-performance CPSS technologies. To support continued growth, SureScan expanded its manufacturing facilities in Owego, New York, increasing production capacity. This investment reinforces SureScan’s long-term commitment to innovation, quality, and customer success.
